Editorial Policy

This page explains how OST Vibes researches, writes, checks and corrects what it publishes. If you think we have fallen short of it, email [email protected].

Where our information comes from

Every soundtrack guide on this site is built from the official release, not from other blogs. In practice that means:

  • The official soundtrack album as published by the record label.
  • Label and studio announcements for release dates, formats and vinyl editions.
  • Streaming platform credits (Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music) to confirm the tracklist and running times.
  • The composer’s or artist’s own official channels where they have commented on the work.

Where we report something that was said or published elsewhere, we link to that source. If we cannot verify a claim, we leave it out rather than repeat it.

What we will not do

  • We do not publish a composer credit we cannot verify. If we do not know who scored something, the page says nothing rather than guessing.
  • We do not invent scene descriptions, quotes or chart positions.
  • We do not republish another outlet’s reporting as if it were our own.

Corrections

If a tracklist, credit, release date or any other fact on this site is wrong, we want to fix it. Email [email protected] with the page and what is incorrect. We aim to respond within a few days. When we correct something material, we update the page rather than delete it.

Updates

Soundtrack pages are living documents. When a vinyl edition is announced, a track is added, or a credit is corrected, we update the existing guide and its modified date rather than publishing a new one.

Independence

No composer, label, studio or streaming service pays for coverage on OST Vibes, and none of them get to see a piece before it is published. Our revenue comes from display advertising, which is explained in our Advertising Disclosure.
