Ed Sheeran has exciting news for fans—his next album is officially finished! The singer-songwriter took to social media on Wednesday to share a clip from the studio, revealing that a new single is on the way.
New Music Incoming
In the video, Sheeran can be seen dancing in the studio alongside producer Ilya Salmanzadeh, known for his work with Lisa and Ariana Grande. The teaser features a snippet of his upcoming song Azizam, which he also previewed on YouTube with a 30-second clip.
With a lively dance beat and backing vocals from the Citizens Of The World Choir, Sheeran sings:
“And if love’s just a game, come and play, Azizam.”

Surprise Performances & Fan Moments
Sheeran has been building hype for his new music with a series of surprise performances. He first debuted Azizam with a live set on the streets of New Orleans, playing alongside a brass band. More recently, he performed an impromptu acoustic set at a Boston pub for St. Patrick’s Day, following a similar surprise gig in Nashville last week—where he even covered Britney Spears’ …Baby One More Time.
What’s Next?
Alongside Azizam, Sheeran has hinted at another track called Sapphire, set to release in the coming months. With the album now complete, fans can expect more announcements—and plenty of surprises—from the Shape of You hitmaker soon.
