About the Music Director
Chanda Dancy, the film’s music director, is a talented composer, violinist, and vocalist. She founded CYD Music and has scored projects for major festivals like Sundance and Cannes. Dancy’s accolades include the BMI Pete Carpenter Fellowship for Aspiring Film Composers and the APM/YMF Music Business Award, where she was honored alongside John Williams. In addition to films, she’s worked on video game soundtracks and is a member of the rock band Modern Time Machines.
Plot of One of Them Days
Dreux and Alyssa’s day takes a chaotic turn when they discover Alyssa’s boyfriend has spent their rent money. With only until 6 pm to gather $1,500, the duo scrambles to come up with a plan.
