The Jonas Brothers are ending 2025 on a very high note. While traveling across North America on their huge 75-date JONAS20: Greetings From Your Hometown Tour, the brothers have also been creating their own solo music, giving fans even more to look forward to.
This year was one of their busiest ever. They marked their 20th anniversary, released their seventh studio album Greetings From Your Hometown, and completed two Disney films, A Very Jonas Christmas and the upcoming Camp Rock 3. They also hosted the first-ever JONASCON in New Jersey, where they performed six sets in one day. Their packed schedule shows why they are leading PEOPLE’s Best of 2025 issue.
According to the people.com During their PEOPLE cover shoot in Houston, the trio opened up about their next steps. Kevin Jonas, surprised fans when he performed his first solo song Changing during their August show in Boston. The track officially came out on November 20. Kevin said he was happy with how warmly fans accepted it and shared that he is taking his solo journey slowly. He said the song was twenty years in the making, but he is still exploring what comes next and is taking things one step at a time. For now, he enjoys performing it on tour with the support of his brothers.
Joe Jonas, is also deep into new music. He already released a solo album earlier this year called Music For People Who Believe in Love. But the biggest surprise is his update for fans of DNCE. Joe confirmed that a new DNCE album is on the way. He explained that they spent a creative week in New York working in multiple studio rooms at the same time. He said that sometimes he would walk into one room and it would be a Nick solo track, and in another room, it could be DNCE music. Creating in so many directions at once was challenging but very rewarding.
Nick Jonas, also shared his big news. On November 3, he officially announced his new solo album Sunday Best, which releases on February 6. This marks his first solo record in nearly six years. Nick said he has been writing and recording while on tour, even cutting vocals backstage before shows. Working this way keeps him inspired, especially because he gets to imagine how each new song might sound in front of a live crowd.
Nick and Kevin even worked on a song together right before stepping onstage for a show. According to Kevin, the music Nick and Joe are creating right now is some of the best work he has ever heard from them.
With a major tour, two Disney movies, a new Nick Jonas album, Joe’s solo era, a fresh DNCE project, and Kevin’s first-ever solo song, 2025 has been a nonstop year for the Jonas Brothers. And from their excitement, it seems 2026 will bring even more music from the trio and their individual journeys.
