Canadian rapper Drake has sparked curiosity among fans with a cryptic Instagram post, hinting that his next project might stir some strong emotions.
On Monday, the 38-year-old artist shared a series of photos — a selfie, live performance shots, a scene from the 2017 movie Phantom Thread, and an image of two Zofran pills, a medication used to prevent nausea.
Alongside the images, Drake wrote a thought-provoking caption:
“You know I grew up non-confrontational and always treated this game as a sport where my pen won gold… but these days the podium has been hard for all of us to ignore,” he said. “I understand that this next chapter may leave you feeling uneasy, but I hope you see my honesty as clarity, not charity.”
Though Drake didn’t specify who the message was aimed at, fans were quick to speculate it might be linked to his ongoing feud with fellow rapper Kendrick Lamar.
Earlier this year, Drake filed a lawsuit against Universal Music Group (UMG), accusing the company of supporting Kendrick’s diss track Not Like Us, which included serious allegations against him — claims Drake has strongly denied.
While the rapper’s future plans remain uncertain, he recently postponed tour dates in Australia and New Zealand due to a “scheduling conflict.”
For now, fans are left guessing what Drake’s “next chapter” will reveal — but it’s clear something big is on the horizon.
